5/2/99-- Hey everyone! Brock here, and I received a lot of great questions! A lot of them were very similar, so I'll only post one of them for each answer, you know, just to keep it simpler. Now, let's see if I can answer them!
RoquetChic asks: "So Brock, what do you look for in a girl? What features attract you?"
Brock Says: Well, I'll admit I have a bit of a soft spot for girls. Ok, ok, practially all girls (except the really young ones). But that's just on the surface. If I was really looking for a long-term relationship, I'd like a girl who had my interests. I mean, caring about pokemon would be important, and she'd have to be someone that could deal with my sudden bursts of emotion... but I'm not a picky guy. If I could just go on one date this year, it'd make my century!
Brittany Cole asks: "Yo Brock you're so cute. How old are you? Every one says either 12, 13, or 18 but the official site says you're 12."
Brock Says: *blushes* Thanks Brittany. Well, a lot of people are curious about this question. For one thing, I'm definitely not 12. I think the Nintendo people must've been looking at my middle school pictures when they thought that number up. But if it's a real age you're looking for, I'm really 17 years old. I know Eji's wishing I was older, and some other people wish I was younger, but that's my age. Most people immediately say, "well, if you're 17, why are you shorter than Team Rocket?" Well, that's because I just never... got that growth spurt. (It's still embarassing to mention that)
Jay asks: "Dear Brock, every time you meet a Nurse Joy, you say she's the prettiest one yet... How can you tell them apart?"
Brock Says: Well, after you've been admiring girls as much as I have, you get a sort of "sixth-sense" about them. I'm getting very good at it. To the normal, inexperienced boy (like Ash), they all look alike, but to me, each one is beautiful in their own way... what a family!
PokeGirl_13 asks: "How can you stand Ash? He's a complete ding-dong!"
Brock Says: Ash reminds me of when I was once his age. Ok, maybe he doesn't. But the point is that he's a determined kid, and I can see that someday he could be a great trainer. I mean, it's not everyday you see a challenger call off a match and not use a technicality like a sprinkler system to win. I was impressed by his compassion for his pokemon, and his ability to be a just trainer. Eh... ok, so he is annoying to travel with at times, and he totally misses the point of some important conversations, but hey, I'm old enough to be mature enough to put up with it. They teach you that kind of thing in gym leader's training. =)
Jonathan Thomas asks: "How do I get a girlfriend?"
Brock Says: Well, if I knew that, I wouldn't be getting rejected so many times, would I? =)
